My Mom Marjorie Elizabeth Smith Brady 1908-2002
My beloved Mom passed away quietly and gently on November 20, 2002 in Scituate, MA. She was an extraordinary mother and person, devoting her entire life to her only child, me. She had a difficult life raising me all on her own, but the love and caring was always there. There was always time for laughter and sharing. Church and Family were the main focus of her life. Mom left behind many people that loved her besides myself. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and many friends in Massachusetts. Mom left me a legacy of a mother's unselfish unconditional love. Of religious faith and love of family. She is now with God, the angels, her relatives and friends that went before her. I know she tried very hard to convince God to help the Red Sox win a pennant. I guess she did it as her beloved Red Sox did win the World Series. (Twice since she died, in fact.) I'm just sorry she wasn't here on earth to hear and see it. I sure would love to listen in to her conversations with the Babe, Ted Williams and Joe DiMaggio! She was such an avid Red Sox fan. May she rest in Peace forever. I love you, Mom. The background is comprised of poinsettias, one of Mom's favorite flowers The music is a very old song, interestingly sung in her era, "Margie".
